Midwives are the guardians of normal. Most healthy women do not need medications or technology to conceive, birth, or nourish their babies. With information, support, and attentive guidance a woman will use her inherent wisdom to care for herself and her baby peacefully and powerfully.

At Wild Harmony Wellness we offer fertility support, pre-conception counseling, well-woman care, complete prenatal and homebirth services, and postpartum support including lactation consultation. We artfully combine the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other holistic modalities with the knowledge and experience of midwifery to offer you and your family individualized, attentive and optimal care as your family grows together.

2835 Camino del Rio South, Suite 210

San Diego CA 92115

Camino del Rio South is the Southside frontage road to the 8, and the office is .5 miles east of Texas St. While GPS directions work well, the building can be a bit tricky to see the first time, but it is distinguishable as a redwood shingled 2-story on the south side of the street (see photo above).  The sign for the building is easy to miss: small, close to the ground, a wee bit back from the curb but shows the building address.  Our building is next door east to the Rio Sur building which has a slightly more prominent sign, and it is across the street from the now-closed Todai Sushi restaurant that has a big blue whale-mouth entrance.

Free street parking is available or park in the tiered lot behind our building accessible via the driveway immediately adjacent west to the building. After parking, walk back down the hill driveway halfway down where you will find a wooden boardwalk on the right where the waterfall starts.  Follow the walkway to the end of the stream, and ahead of you will be stairs.  Walk up the stairs to the second floor, and we are the second office in, suite 210.  Bathrooms are located two doors down to the right of the office.

I look forward to meeting you in my relaxed office setting. This appointment is set aside just for you, so please call or email if you must cancel or reschedule. Although scheduling conflicts rarely happen, there is always the possibility our appointment must be cancelled at the last minute if I must attend a woman in labor, so be sure I have your cell phone number, and check your voicemails before coming to the visit. I appreciate your understanding as I continue to do this important life work.

Your first visit will last 1-1.5 hours, and subsequent visits will last 45-60 minutes, so please allow sufficient time. If you have time constraint for a particular appointment, please inform me upon your arrival, and I will accommodate your needs.

Homebirth is a family affair, and it is vital that partners and other children feel comfortable with the process and us. You are welcome to have occasional visits alone, of course, but we encourage partners and children to come to as many visits as possible. While I support children’s free spirits, this is a professional office servicing a wide range of clientele where both healing and relaxation occur. Please try to keep inside voices as much as possible and take cell phone calls outside if you must answer.
